Your website and its contents, may it be text, pictures, graphics, video etc. are all valuable assets of your brand. To create your original work, you must have spent considerable time and money; so why would you leave it open for others to steal/copy? Protecting your website content against theft is as important as locking your car doors.

Although there are no guarantees but there are many things you can do to protect your work. I personally use Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Website Content Protection Tools and Take-down Services for my personal and company websites.

They have a free plan which has a lot of features to get you started. You might not even need to upgrade to a paid plan. Whether you choose to go with them or any other similar service provider; you should at least start thinking about protecting your original work.
